We had lots of fun celebrating St. Patrick's Day. In the morning we had a mass to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with our school family, parents and parisioners. Father Alban told us about the life of St. Patrick and what an important saint he is to us.
We all wore green instead of our uniform and after mass we had a morning treat! Mrs McNulty Jones made us each a green cupcake to enjoy at playtime. Yum.
In the afternoon, we had the opportunity to meet Alison Williamson an Olympic archer! Year 5 and 6 took part in an archery lesson and we had a whole school assembly where Alison told us all about the London 2012 games and we got to hold her olympic medal. A very special day! Thank you Alison!
