On Friday 18th September, all of the children at St Patrick's took part in a fantastic Scavenger Hunt organised by our Parent Teacher and Friends Association (PTA). The event provided a wonderful opportunity for children and families to work together, have fun and raise money to support future school projects and activities.
On Friday 18th September, all of the children at St Patrick's took part in a fantastic Scavenger Hunt organised by our wonderful PTA.
This event was particularly special as it was the first time we made a conscious decision to ensure that every child in the school was able to take part, regardless of circumstance. We firmly believe that all children should have the opportunity to enjoy the experiences that make school life memorable, and the afternoon was a wonderful example of our school community coming together to make this happen.
A huge thank you must go to our PTA for their hard work in planning, organising and running the event. Their commitment and dedication helped create a memorable afternoon that was enjoyed by children, staff and families alike.
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to all those parents and families who chose to "Pay It Forward." Your generosity ensured that every child was able to participate and leave with a special prize. Your kindness perfectly demonstrates the caring and supportive community we are so proud of at St Patrick's.
This event truly encapsulated everything we strive to achieve as a Catholic school. It reflected our mission statement:
"We Work, We Love, We Learn, We Pray - We spread the Gospel message every day."
Through your generosity, inclusion and support for one another, our children experienced these values in action.
We are already looking forward to hosting many more exciting events throughout the year and continuing to strengthen the wonderful sense of community that makes St Patrick's such a special place.
Well done and thank you to everyone involved!
